I used to design a lot, but it has been a long time so I am a little rusty.

    Anyway, the url is:

https://www.radbrains.com I am trying to get an image in the header/banner section, but the natural way the theme lets me do it makes it look stupid and it just puts a thumbnail next to the site title. How could I make it so that the box stays the same size and I could upload my own image to be about the same size as the header box is right now?

    Thanks for your help

  • It seems you are using an older version of the theme Catch Box. The theme was updated this month. You may download a fresh copy of the theme, replace the old version and try to upload the image.

no, my version says 1.0.9 just like on the page you posted. I actually downloaded it from there last night.

    Any more ideas?

You may still need to reinstall the theme as it appears to be either an incomplete installation or badly edited.

what is wrong with it besides the columns being different widths?

its just slow hosting, bad choice on my part.. Nothing to do with the installation of the theme

also, I just got 1.74 seconds on that test. It must have just been a fluke that you were getting a high number, right?

Retest! You too will get different load times every time you check it. I tried some other tools too. They too show similar variations. Also, try to load your site using different computers and browsers. You will get different results.

and then why do you assume it is the theme instead of the hosting I use?

There are several reasons based on my tests. OK, if it is your server problem, according to you, be that be so. It is not my problem, I am just trying to find out the reason and help you with the solutions I find.

So, you may find this link useful, as it deals with a similar problem and the author of the theme has replied to that. Try it. Perhaps it will solve the problem.

ok but how does this resolve my initial question of the header issue?

Every thing seems to be strange! The link I posted takes to a different page. Anyway, try to cut-paste this link into your browser and see if you can see the link I mentioned.

Hello krishna, I checked the link you provided, but it only says how to get the bgcolor to change through css, I am wanting to change the bg to an image about the size of the header.

I tried inputting into the css:

    background-image: url(urlhere);

but that did not work. is there any other way to do this? I have really tried just about everything I can think of

If you read the post carefully, there is a question about changing the header. The OP actually wrote about what he did (image size, etc.) but you may read again and you may perhaps see that the author of the theme did not reply that. Please read that portion again. I am just waiting for your reply.

Op was asking about changing dimensions, I am the last poster asking about changing the images…OP said nothing about adding images in
