Problem with cbnet Ping Optimizer

Hi,

I am having a problem with cbnet Ping Optimizer. I did not check it before (drat).

I thought it was another plugin that I have called Samson, but I tested the plugin without Samson and it still continues to not ping.

This is what I am getting:

https://api.my.yahoo.com/RPC2 could not be pinged. Error message: “transport error – could not open socket”
? https://api.my.yahoo.com/rss/ping could not be pinged. Error message: “transport error – could not open socket”
? https://api.feedster.com/ping could not be pinged. Error message: “transport error – could not open socket”
? https://api.moreover.com/RPC2 could not be pinged. Error message: “transport error – could not open socket”
? https://api.moreover.com/ping could not be pinged. Error message: “transport error – could not open socket”
? https://www.bitacoles.net/ping.php could not be pinged. Error message: “transport error – HTTP status code was not 200”

I just deleted the plugin.

I only used it because it was not repinging my updates.

Has anyone else observed this problem.

Any suggestions how to fix it. I use premium WOOthemes
