adding images to a post

  • Well this is what I get for not posting more often. I’ve added images to posts before but I’m wracking my brain trying to figure out how I did it??
    I’ve added several images to my media library complete with captions, descriptions and everything.
    Now how do I add them to my post. I click the img button and it asks for a url??
    I selected 1 of my images from the library as my featured image but nothing was added to my post code. What do I need to do to add and place images from the media library to my post?

  • Select the image from your Library or upload a new one, then in the same window scroll a little bit to bottom and press insert into post.

    Thank You. I actually figured it out. I didn’t see the upload image icon above the post.
    But now I’m trying to figure out how to display the title and description. All that displays is the caption.

    you want to add image to your post?.

    (i assume you are in post-editing-page)
    simply put your cursor where you want your image to appear, and than just click “Upload/Insert” (it’s in your post editor menu). the popup would appear,
    + you can upload your image.
    + or you can use your uploaded image (click “media library” tab), choose your image by clicking “show”, and scroll down until you find “insert into post”.
