[Plugin: File Un-Attach] Change Default

The current settings have the files automatically attaching when they’re uploaded to the gallery. The problem is that I don’t want them automatically attached. I only want to attach one image because otherwise the photos appear in the slideshow at top and in the main part of the post. Is there any way to not have them attach by default?
