Images not showing up on subdomains

    Hi, I have carried out a new install and activated multi-site and updated both the cofig file and the htaccess files as directed and have the default WordPress theme activated on both the main site and the subdomain.

    When I upload and insert an image into the sample post on the main site the image shows fine but when I upload an image on the sample site the image doesn’t show. I have another wordpress site on the this server that is in multisite mode and that works fine.

    There is something wrong but I have searched high and low, any ideas would be very much appreciated.

    I have sussed it, what I did was update the htaccess file by adding the new rewrite instead of replacing what was already there !
