  • There isn’t anything native to WPtouch that would set fonts in this particular way. You may want to have a look at your desktop theme’s stylesheet(s) in case there is a media query that is responsible.

You may also want to verify that WPtouch is functioning as expected on its own and isn’t falling victim to a plugin conflict. To isolate any plugin(s) may be contributing to the trouble, deactivate all except WPtouch from within the WordPress Plugins area, clear your browser cache and local data, then test.

If WPtouch functions well, you may then enable the rest of your plugins one at a time, repeating the process, until you can identify which is/are causing the problem.

    Thank you for your reply.

I have disabled my theme and went back to the original unmodified twenty eleven theme. I also disabled all plugins except WPtouch and cleared browser cache.

But still have the same result. The font on the front page (with the post excerpts) and that of pages is smaller than that of a single post.

Here are three pictures after all the above actions taken on my iPhone:

    Frontpage with small font
    Post clickthrough with larger font
Single page with small font again

My test blog is at FlyingSquirrel.nl

I have checked another blog that uses WPtouch and this has the same results.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers,
    Erik

What you’re seeing are the default font sizes (12pt and 14pt). The free version of WPtouch offers the option to change some styling options but font size is not one of them.
