Predefined themes / lists for pages

Hi www.ads-software.com users,

i already tried to find something here and on other pages but my search wasn’t successful yet. I’am working on my first WordPress-website for a client and he told me that it was possible to determine templates for pages or something like that. The clue is that he wants to have something like a list with text and images, e.g. like this:

IMAGE text
————
text IMAGE
————
IMAGE text

and so on and so forth. I told him to to do it with the wygiwys is editor, but he wants exactly this thing because he used it before.
So what he wants is list which can be modified in the backend, with auto-resizing images and auto-formatting texts. Is there a possiblity to this by any kind of plugins or some php-trick with page-themes? Otherwise I would write a plugin that does this.
