Multiple rotating content boxes

Just looking for a suggestion on how to achieve this (plugin preferred, light php coding is also fine). I recieved a page design today that calls for a landing page with six (or more) boxes of content, three of which are displayed and the rest are to be rotated through by bumping everything one box to the left or one box to the right either by user input (an arrow button) or on a timer. The boxes will have html content and will have to be editable by the end user. Any suggestions?
