We have multiple Enhanced Text Widgets in our sidebars, but we most of the time do not add a title to the widget (as they are either graphics/ads, or otherwise self-explanatory). This leaves us with a list of “Enhanced Text Widget”s, without a way to identify what’s in each one (without opening them, of course).

What would be nice would be either a way to ID the widgets, or to suppress the title on the page while allowing the title to appear in the widget admin. Clicking on the “do not output before/after title” box does not do the trick, unfortunately.

    Other than that, great plugin!

  • I second this request, in fact I was just going to post this exact request.

Thanks so much for the plugin, it’s responsible for at least 50% of our website right now.

Any way you can set an option to “hide or display” title?

As you can see, it can easily get confusing!

Great idea, I’ve had the same problem.

Just released an update with option to hide the title.

So to identify the widget in the admin without displaying the title on the frontend, add a title and check “do not display the title” option.
