[Plugin: Fancybox] Fancybox for dummies somewhere?

  • Forgive me for asking such a crude question, but I have been trying to implement easyFancybox; understand Fancybox in general, and follow any “how to use” and introductory instructions on the relevant plugin pages…

    ..and it is just plain baffling. And I’m a web designer. I know how to work with WP, CSS, html, etc., but even the most basic questions for using Fancybox & jquery are overlooked.

    For example how do you add a <script></script> to a page or post? Just paste it in? All about jquery.js? I don’t need a tutorial in using jquery, just what file and where to put it.

    In summary, I need Fancybox for extreme dummies…please help. thank you.

    Update:
    Well I just discovered the main cause of my frustration has been a conflict between my theme and the plugin/jquery code.

    I still don’t fully understand how things…but it poses the next question which is, is it possible to resolve theme/plugin conflicts?

    A very important component to my business is these new tutorial videos on my site using Lightbox, and if it doesn’t even work on my site this is a big setback to get around….anyway…
