Turning a page into a photo album?

  • I’m running the Minimatica theme and I want to set one of the pages to be a photos page with albums and such. I’m studying abroad for a year and will probably have hundreds or thousands of photos to share.

    I have the NextGen Gallery plugin but I can’t seem to figure out how I can keep the gallery stuff on a single page instead of just sticking it in my sidebar which shows up on every one of my blog posts.

    Any help would be awesome!

  • To put a NextGen Gallery in a Page, you can use a shortcode as shown on this site.

    Simply put the shortcode on the Page with the id of the Gallery you wish to display – that’s it!

    Better to use the native wp gallery system. Just upload images to that page or post and insert the gallery tag using your editor
