Can't see images in post, recieve 400 Error Message

    Please someone out there help!

    I can upload images into my posts, and they are visible when editing my post.

    When I click on “Preview Update” I get an Error 400 message.

    When I click on “Continue Reading” on my post page, same message.

    When I go to my blog to view my posts, I can not see the images posted.

    I’ve cleared cache and cookies, updated browsers and cleaned widgets.

    Any suggestions?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    so yes, i tried all of that.

    and then interestingly enough- it was my permalinks that were causing problems.

    what worked for me:

    settings -> permalinks -> switching permalinks with percentages to default
