I am the most beginer at wordpress need help

  • Hello. I have two questions:
    1. I need to have two different inputs for short description of the article and a full text. a good commenting form,user manager and forum.
    advice me plugins for them.
    2. I have made template using html and css. please tell me how convert it into wordpress theme..

  • You might want to hire a professional. This forum is volunteer-supported and deals with troubleshooting issues you may be having with an existing WordPress installation.

    It looks like you want free help in building a site, and this is not the place for that. We’re a support forum, not an online university.

    I would recommend that you try a few themes and just play with them for now. Stick to the ones in the WordPress repository. There’s no need to pay for themes. All “Premium” themes are not premium at all.

    A lot of themes come with excerpts on the home page and then read more to the full article.
    The default commenting is usually perfectly fine for most.
    With regards to user manager, I’m not sure which plugin is best. It depends what you want to do.
    For forum, check out buddypress.

    I would also encourage you to look at making child theme and just take the default themes and look at the files. The best way to learn is to see how others have created themes.
