• I’m new to the SEO plugin – and WP for that matter, although not a nubie. I’ve done some extensive testing over the past 2 days and am having a problem with Focus Keyword. My problems are twofold:

    1. As I enter the words the wheel toward the right of the input box starts spinning, a dropdown list of word combos that start with my entered text is displayed, and I select one of the combos. The wheel keeps spinning and spinning and often doesn’t stop. Any attempt at that point to do a Page Analysis results in the Focus Keywords not being found.

    2. Even in instances where the wheel does stop spinning, I can never get the Page Analysis to accept/find THREE keywords. It will only work and provide a satisfactory result if I enter TWO keywords but not three.

I should add that in all instances the body and the title contains all three words. I have also tried different combos of words but the results are the same.

    Does this make any sense?

If I were the only person submitting posts, I could probably work around this. But there will be half a dozen people using the system and I’d like to eliminate any potential confusion. Don’t want those support calls!

Lastly, is there a way to remove the Focus Keyword and Lindex page analysis? Mind you, that would be removing much of the benefit of the SEO plugin, no?

The same thing is happening with me. When I enter any number of keywords from 1-3 the wheel just continuously spins. Then if I try to update the page I get a fatal error in return. The plug-in really seems great if I could only get it to work. Please help!

This is the exact error I get: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 71 bytes) in /data/21/2/15/111/2993111/user/3321559/htdocs/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 764

@nicole that error message has nothing to do with WP SEO as such.

    Have a read here.

For both of you, the following article may be of interest to you: https://yoast.com/focus-keyword/

I get the same thing, but not on all pages, only some. Thought it was a sub page issue, but a few did work. Not sure what that wheel does, never paid attention to it. It worked fine on all the products, but now on the content pages it’s not taking.
Not sure other than my former developer installed it wrong…
    Any thoughts?
