Database Update Required with v3.4.2

I didn’t even get the db update message just redirected to the upgrade.php page not found.

I downloaded the package myself, FTP’d upgrade.php into wp-admin and ran it. It upgraded the db and everything works now.

Try:
– switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

– re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

– running the upgrade manually via wp-admin/upgrade.php

I’ll try remat457’s method first. It’s a kind of important site!

I’ve tried esmi’s method and I’m still getting the same issue :/

Did you reset the plugins using Phpmyadmin?

I don’t have access to Phpmyadmin as it’s not my server ??

I’ve backed up and deleted all the plugins in the wp-content/plugins folder and the issue still isn’t resolved.

Do you have access to any kind of database management tool?

I have now accessed the db and changed the plugin field and it didn’t help at all.
What other fields could we change?

None. Have you checked your site’s error logs for clues?

I have asked and unfortunately I am not able to gain access to them.
