Error establishing a database connection Post Update?

I am facing the same problem on my website https://www.wattsay.com
But this problem is not occuring on phone and other mobile devices. Its just on PCs. My host is godaddy. Please do something guys..I am amateur, else i should have gone through.

I am having this issue and use GoDaddy. I could not access my site via my phone either.

I’m having the same exact issues @concertconfessions (tinydreamsphotography.com).Looks like it might be an issue with GoDaddy (saw this on another forum but can’t remember where!).

I am having the same issue at Thethievingbear.com and I also use GoDaddy…. One of my readers said my site is fine for her though????

By chance did anyone recently update the plugin Advanced Custom Fields? This error occurred right after the plugin instructed me to update my database. Not sure if it is a coincidence or related.

Yeiks. I’m in the same boat: “Error establishing a database connection” and am using GoDaddy.

Off to Go Daddy to see if I can hunt down an answer.

What is the way to recover?

I just started building a site for a client now it’s down. This is the first time I’ve used WP now this happens.
