Importing posts using Gridly and Workz

Bit of a conundrum. My portfolio is currently on a separate installation, using the Gridly theme: https://catillest.com/portfolio2/

I want to export these posts (I know how) and import to my other install at https://catillest.com which is using the Workz theme. This theme allows for a separate portfolio style blog (I call it a blog because it is not a page… so all entries are posts)

However the import will only let me add these posts (from Gridly site) as to the blog section https://catillest.com/blog/

As the portfolio pages are styled differently from the blog pages, I want to keep it this way – so I don’t thing using categories alone is an option? If it is I’d love to know how! Any advice appreciated.
