The strangest thing browser tab and url conflict?

    The strangest thing; I migrated my wordpress from

    an old domain finger monkey wire and then uploaded

    it to my new domain https://www.athenatechs.com

    Now when I visit the site the browser tab displays

    says Finger Monkey Wire while the url is

    athenatechs.com

    I’ve used search and replace in the migrated

    database to replace the finger monkey wire url

    with athenatechs and have been through all the

    theme files including header and index.php

    Yes sigh.. even went through General Settings and the SQL WordPress Options field and checked home, website url and all those other values they all say athenatechs.com

    Could it be I’ve found an unfixable bug?

    This is a huge mystery to me anyone faced this

    phenomenon before?

    It’s probably not a WordPress bug, it’s more likely a poorly written theme with a hardcoded title. Try looking in header.php of your theme.

    Honestly that’s the first place I looked header.php and nope know hardcoded url there!

    OMG! I think I’ve done it I’ve found a wordpress bug that will leave the developers of this framework baffled and confused.

    I feel like a mad scientist whose found a rare element not on the periodic table. Or whose found a mutated bacteria! ??

    How is it in locally, is it correct in locally and facing problem only in server. You were importing the database without delete the existing database ? If it is correct in localhost, try to delete the problem showing database after ‘taking a backup’ and import the fresh local database…just a try

    It works well on the Offline local server no issues there. The browser tab does not say finger monkey wire.

    I created a brand new empty database on the Online hosting server then I imported the old database into the new database at the athenatechs.com domain.

    If I import the local database I risk losing all the old database articles. Those articles were written over a period of one year. ??

    It’s Crazy I mean how HOW IS IT POSSIBLE that the browser tab is recognizing the site as Finger Monkey when there is Zero reference to Finger Monkey in the database and even in wordpress ?!?!?!?!

    I even asked the web hosting company to reset their server, hoping that might be the issue they said “Well we do that every evening” ??
