• So much to learn.

If I see something cool in a website can I go to “view source” and copy the html then paste it into my css?

What are the advantages of this?
What are the disadvantages – or dangers – of this.

I’m not sure what you mean by copying the HTML and pasting it into your CSS.
    If you mean to copy the HTML and CSS;
    Advantages

    • Quick to implement
    • No need to think

    Disadvantages

    • When running into problems, you’ll spend more time trying to figure out what’s wrong with code you aren’t familiar with.
    • Plagiarism.
    • You may breach copyright laws, make sure you check whether you can copy it.
    • Not learning.
    • Can potentially copy harmful code.
    • Code can be worse on some websites than others, make sure it’s valid via W3C’s validator before you use it.

These aren’t all the advantages/ disadvantages.

    A lot to consider.

Is there a way to find the HTML and CSS of your website from preying eyes?

    I meant to say….

Is there a way to HIDE the HTML and CSS of your website from preying eyes?

If the site is viewable then no, there is no way to hide the HTML or CSS.

There some (utterly pointless) plugins that do that to varying degrees but not one of them will prevent someone from viewing the source of a web page. They just annoy the viewer.

Is there a way of reading there hyml to find out what plugins they are using ? If i hover on a navigation bar then view the html can I find out?

I don’t think these are WordPress issues.

@bodierock Please start your own thread instead. You’re question has nothing to do with the OP’s.

    sorry EDC
