[Plugin: Jetpack by WordPress.com] Jetpack affecting Events Calendar upgrade

I am trying to update my Events Calendar from 1.6.5 to 2.0 and when I try to migrate my data I get a server error – I was told this is due to a conflict with Jetpack. Does anyone know is this is right and is there a fix
