Could you please direct me to where this post is as I cannot seem to find it? Thanks.

I have updated to version 3.4 now. I want to make a custom template for the store pages. I had that fix in the core files of the plugin – so it’s all lost on the update (I knew that would happen). But I had hoped that I can make my own template now (not only css).
I found this function slpCreatePageContent. Normally I use remove_action to remove a function and add_action to add my own custom functions. Can you tell me from where to remove the action, so I can add my own fucntions trough the functions.php of my theme
so remove_action(‘what to put here’,’slpCreatePageContent’)

And where can I find the function that creates the bubble? I also want to change some things in the bubble.

This will allow you to take advantage of theme templates, widgets, etc.

I understood the hooks would be added in version 3.3. Do I understand right that allthough I have version 3.3 I can’t use hooks. I like to know the hook for the function slpCreatePageContent so I can hook a replaced function via the functions.php of my theme

Most of them are backend filters. Pity that there are no hooks or filters for frontend, of the output of the storepages.

Any idea when it will be possible to hook a custom slpCreatPageContent via the functions.php. If I know where to add the action, I can make a custom store page. Now I had to change the core file, which will be lost any time I update the plugin.

To get what I want, I made changes in the code of two js files and in 2 other corefiles.
After that I see almost daily a new update. Is there a place where I can see which files are changed in the update? If it’s not in the files I changed, I just van update and upload the changed files again. Which will save a lot of work ??

If you let me know what you are changing/updating I can write hooks or filters so you can create a 3rd party plugin that does not get overwritten by SLP upates.

I shall make a file I can send you, but mainly it are changes to accomplish what I need. A custom store page, so custom layout and styling.
Further I want to make a custom startpage (with the map and the list of stores)
The whole website is multilingual, so I need the pages in all the languages, so ‘directions’ translated in all the languages. At this moment the plugin is not working together with WPML, so I have to make custom coding.
Further in Holland we write: Zipcode Town, so I changed the ordering.

I want to change the bubblecontent and a lot more things.
I made changes in csl.js, storelocatorplus-action_class.php storelocatorplus-adminui_class.php and store-locator-map.js
Some changes would be unnecesairy if the storelocatorplugin was working well with WPML.
That are the main things: possibility to work with WPML
and the possibility to make a custom layout for the storelocator place and for the store_pages

Great – the more info you can send the better. I’d love to make the plugin work better for all locations and not be so “North American” centric.

When you send the files please include notes on what was changed so I don’t have to search.

What is the best… send you the changed files, or the Word-file I made with the notes where I changed what and for what reason (to use it on every update ?? ) or I can send both.

BTW.. I noticed that the directions are not working any more after the last update(s?) I can add a town or zipcode in the right field, but nothing happens. It keeps the center of Holland as a startingpoint (https://staging.bertplantagie.com/verkooppunten)

Send both.

I will need to look into the directions issue. No code should have changed in the last 3.5.X patches to change that.
