[Plugin: Yet Another Related Posts Plugin] thumbnails not working

I have YARPP v 3.5.3 installed and although I get the text for related posts, thumbnails are not being displayed. I just get a small ’empty’ box.

I’m using the template file, yarpp-template-thumbs.
Any thoughts as to why?
