[Plugin: AnythingSlider for WordPress] Anything Slider Video – Won't show Captions

  • Hi, I’m using anything slider in Striking theme, and have all the correct settings to have a youtube video show in the slider.

    You have to have the anything slider set to HTML to display video, and my problem is that the captions don’t work now.

    I’ve tried all sorts of html/css tricks I can find online to get the Title and a description to show to the right of the video, to no avail.

    I’m not a programmer, I know some basic HTML (that’s all!) – so I’ve read other threads with suggestions like “add a box quote” and things like that – but I need something plain and simple. How to I add a paragraph of description text & title to the right of my video?

    Please help, I would be so grateful, I’ve spent hours trying to figure this out.

    Never mind, I got it to work, just for other people who are struggling with this, here is the code I used on the slider item:
