[Plugin: Google Analytics for WordPress] Download tracking GA Understating vs Host's Stats

Hi,
I’ve enabled Track outbound clicks and downloads for this plugin as we want to see how many times PDFS are being viewed on our site.
Comparing the Google Analytics report to the hosting company’s stats – it appears the GA is drastically understating the number of downloads.
Also website hits are also different.

Does anyone know why this might be happening?
