Restrict Access to Sub Domains through the Main Domain

Hi, my site https://mywindows8.org is powered by WordPress. I created a sub domain https://seo.mywindows8.org to put some different contents there. But the contents of seo.mywindows8.org can be access from https://mywindows8.org/seo/ also. It may create a duplicate content issue. How can I make the contents of the sub domain, invisible through the main domain (https://mywindows8.org/seo/) and if some one try to access https://mywindows8.org/seo/ it will give a “404 Not Found” error?
Please help….
