[Plugin: WP Simple SpamCheck] Plugin does not work with Javascript disabled.

Same here. sometimes even when js is active blank screen issue happens (like sth was not kicking in, at least in Opera)

Thanks for taking time to test the WP Simple Spamcheck plugin and provide feedback. I appreciate your comments about the fact the plugin does not work with JavaScript disabled.

Unfortunately I’m not planning to provide a version of the plugin that degrades gracefully in the event there is no javascript, for the following reasons:

1. JavaScript being disabled is an edge-case not worth coding for in my opinion, as you are only catering to 1% of traffic, and these users will be accustomed to a degraded user experience.

2. It would provide an exploit for spammers that is much easier to circumvent, reducing the effectiveness of the plugin.

However, I do appreciate there was no warning of the fact the plugin will not work with JavaScript turned off, and that the user experience is affected (blank screen) and so I will:

1. Update the plugin description in order to inform webmasters so they can choose alternative plugins that work without JavaScript.

2. Redirect these requests to the page that submitted the comment – even though this means 1% of comments getting lost in the ether (I host several websites so I get way too many comments), the user experience will no be affected for these users.

If possible, some sort of a pre-submit warning message or a post-submit comment would be nice just to give a simple info that user has to have js turned on to post a comment.

Sure Seji, sounds like a straight forward change that is helpful for non-js users, without giving spammers any advantage.
