[Plugin: Genesis Featured Widget Amplified] Exclude Category When Featuring Another Category

    At this time there isn’t a way to exclude posts that have already been shown if they are in multiple categories.

    Thanks, Nick. You mentioned “posts that have already been shown.”

    Does that mean that the next new post that has both categories will not appear twice; that the excluded category setting on one of the Featured widgets will work?

    No, I mean that there isn’t a way to do what you are asking right now. You can’t exclude posts from a category AND show posts from a specific category. WordPress won’t work like that.
