[Plugin: Meteor Slides] Use as featured image – Saving… forever

    JLeuze thank you for this lovely plugin.

    I recently started having problems with the last step in adding a slide “Use as featured image”. I’m able to upload the file and see the thumbnail in edit slide screen, but when I click “use as featured image” the link turns to Saving… and just hangs there and doesn’t return to Done…

    My site is a multisite installation of WordPress and I was able to add a few slides before this happened.

    I’ve checked that I have title for the slide and that the images I’m uploading are the same size as meteor settings.

    Can you suggest other things to try?

    You’re welcome, I’m glad it’s coming in handy!

    The first thing I would try is deactivating your other plugins and testing it to see if it works with one of them switched off. This will help narrow down any possible plugin conflicts.

    Have deactivated all plugins except Meteor Slides and still having the same problem.

    I tried it out and I was able to add a featured image, it was kind of slow, maybe your web server is struggling a bit? Multisite does take a lot more resources to run than regular WordPress.

    Another thought though, what browser are you using? I tried it out in Chrome, it could be different in other browsers.

    I’ve tried Google, Firefox and IE. I also tried from my office and at home which have different ISPs in case there was something in my ISP that was slowing things down.

    Left it at the saving… screen for hours and it never did finish.
