Previous URL's causing duplicate homepages
-
Hello All!
I started noticing that I’m getting a lot of URL’s that look like they’re being created dynamically by theirselves such as:
https://www.sample.com/?pg=11111&vari=22222&arra=333333
I just found that these are pages that the previous owners of the domain created (I bought a domain that must have been previously used) which Google still has indexed. Because of this… Google thinks im creating duplicate content because for every unique URL that’s indexed with a /?xyz=whatever, it’s just going to the home page.
Is there any way to send these pages to a 404? Any form of plugin or htaccess edit?
Thanks!!
