Special Text Box settings lost after upgrade

  • I have just upgraded from 3.3.1 to 3.4.2 and I have lost all the settings and content created using the special text box plugin. Does anyone know where wordpress is pulling the information from and how it knows that it is supposed to display it? I can see the settings in the mysql database and I also restored the old plugins folder into the new installation but none of the content is being shown. It is almost as if I have just installed the plugin afresh.

  • this could simply be a compatibility issue with 3.4.2 and your current Special Text Box plugin. You can contact the developer and he may be able to offer some insight.
