    Greetings!

I’ve installed WordPress using a multisite install, following the WordPress Codex directions for a path install (mysite.com/site1). I’ve also defined both SSL constants in wp-config.php as true (FORCE_SSL_ADMIN and FORCE_SSL_LOGIN). This appears to break the admin sections of my subsites. An attempt to access mysite.com/site1/wp-admin/ yields “Default Page.”

My host for the install is Bluehost. Though my account is a reseller account, it’s configured essentially the same as any other Bluehost account.

Any help you all can provide would be much appreciated!

It appears this issue presents when the SSL constants are added to the wp-config.php file after websites have been set up. It breaks the admin sections for those websites. The workaround (until WP developers fix it) is to enable the SSL constants from the get-go. Things work nicer that way. Fortunately, mine was a fresh install. ??

(If someone will do what’s necessary to alert WP developers to the issue, I’d appreciate it!)
