    Hi Jeff

Have you filled in the username/password for your Instagram account? The plugin needs that to connect to the Instagram API. Also you need to setup at least one hashtag.

If you still can’t get it to work contact me here: https://olekenneth.no/kontakt-ole-kenneth/

    Hey Ole Kenneth,

Okay, I have some familiarity with the Instagram API. I will make some attempts to get your plugin set up correctly with the info you just gave me. ?? Also, after I set it up, I would enjoy writing some documentation for you (free, of course). Let me know.

    Thanks again,

    Jeff

    Question:

REDIRECT URI –> Where should it point to?

    Again Big Thanks!

You don’t need that. The plugin will connect to Instagram API itself. I’m working on a version of the plugin that will enable you to test whats going wrong.

Try to upgrade to the newest version. This will enable you to set up either a Instagram API app or use your account details. I also implemented a new way of downloading contents from Instagram.

    Hi all,
Great plugin and works well although can you confirm how i make the image the featured post on import? ??

    Regards,

Sorry. This is not possible. Because even though it displays the image as a post, the image is still stored at Instagram. Maybe this will be a feature in future.

It is possible to set a featured image from an external URL, if you edit a post and give a URL path it sets it but ideally id like to automate this.

Any ideas on things i can try?
