It can be. The script in that post will help a lot, but it’s easy to mess up. Make good backups.

I think I’m gonna give it a try today. I’m preparing my backups right now. In addition to the link you provided, I also found this one: https://www.realisingdesigns.com/2010/09/16/moving-the-domain-of-a-wordpress-multisite-install/

In my case, I will be moving from a subdomain to my main domain, and not from a subfolder, meaning it’s subdomain.maindomain.com, and NOT maindomain.com/something.

Are the steps still the same? Do you know about any extra precaution I should take? Thanks!

Follow the codex doc, if possible. I wrote it and tested it a couple times, so I’m fairly confident it still works (I tried to make it as simple as I could, since the more steps, the easier to mess up).

Moving from a subdomain to the main domain is easier than a subfolder, I feel, but when you’re done moving, search the DB one last time.
