SEO/SITEMAP when WordPress is hosted in mydomain.com/blog directory

  • Hi, I have a question. I have hosted wordpress in mydomain.com/blog directory, because I want to work my other site templates not using wordpress (I want to customize it without use wordpress, using html, css,..). But, What I must do now to have good SEO???

    Can WordPress SEO of Yoast work the SEO of the templates that are hosted in others directories of the site, as mydomain.com or mydomain.com/portfolio (which ones don’t use wordpress)??? What I have to do with the sitemap?
