Spam Karma 2 Error Message

  • When I upgraded to 2.0 I removed Spam Karma and used Askimet simply because it was built in.However, I decided to go back to Spam Karma 2 and when I went to activate it I got this error:

    Cannot unserialize news array from URL: https://wp-plugins.net/sk2/sk2_news.php?sk2_version=1&sk2_release=final&sk2_lang=
    ———-

    I think it is language related but am not sure.I didn’t get this error when I installed it in my 1.5.2 though.

    I want to know how to fix it or if it is something I should even be worried about?

  • I got this error too, I think it’s nothing much you should worry about? It only happens to that particular news. There’s other latest updated one about it and that one showed up without errors. ??

    News…? What news? I’m a lil clueless here.When I first used this I installed it and basically forgot about it as it did it’s thing.

    Actually, that error is an error in loading the latest news about Spam Karma (if I am not wrong, not 100% sure though).

    If there’s an update about the plugin, it will show on the plugin options page. Have you tried upgrading your spam karma to the latest version, 2.1? It’s compatiable with wp 2.0, maybe that would solve the error I hope? ??
