    I don’t see anything that could mess up <head> and <body> tag both in plugin files and the update I had sent you, but I’ll look into more detail tomorrow.

    The thing with <!–nextpage–> is that author box is appended to the_content() via a filter. It depends on the theme you’re using, but code that shows numbered boxes is almost certainly after the_content() function call, so unless you add the boxes using the_content filter as well, there’s no way to change order of the two.
