    update: it appears to be my theme, as I just tried it, and had it work, with classic.

    Well, wp_list_pages works fine, so I may just resort to that, but this seemed like a much more elegant and efficient solution.

    Are there any other navigation lists like this? Something else that has the instant javascript feel to it?
