jQuery accordion menu does not close

Using the jQuery accordion menu. All parent and child pages appear on the home page and it should only be the parent pages showing. When you click on a parent page and it takes you to the parent page, all other child pages do close except for those under the parent page you visited which is working correctly. When you go back to the home page, all parent and child pages show again. How do you get the child pages to close when on the home page?
