How to add the tag for IZEA to put ads on site?

Thank you for your help. It is a easy to understand guide. Evidently Ad Injection plugin is only for ads I copy & paste and insert myself.

Is there a plugin that would permit someone else to insert ads on my site?

Hi decoratewithalittlebit, other people can insert ads on your site if thy give you the ad code to copy into the boxes.

If you use something like Google AdSense then you will be showing other people’s adverts.

When I activated AdSense Now! the site stopped working.. must not be compatible with my Mystique theme. The posts wouldn’t load while it was active.

Have you tried using AdSense with Ad Injection?

Thank you. I did activate the adsense but couldn’t find where to put the code to allow IZEA to place ads. Also, the empty ad box showed all the time.

As you can tell, I am not knowledgeable about how to do it.

Hi decoratewithalittlebit, step 10 in the linked pdf shows you exactly where to place the advert code. If you then get empty boxes then it might be working! It can take a day or so before Google starts serving adverts to your site if you ad in AdSense for the first time.

I thought the step 10 was instructing me to enter the html ad code in the box to post the actual ad. I thought what I entered in the box would post on the blog – that the box would not stay blank.

I didn’t realize it was for the html code from IZEA that would permit them to insert ads. Will try that.
