    Hi there,

just finished migrating a multisite. Now I wanted to work a bit on seo, permalinks, etc.

First question is: I have my multisite as example.com/en/portfolio and example.com/es/portolio-2. Can I have them both as /portolio, without the -2?

Then, I have custom posts for a portfolio, showing as #postname. Can I get rid of the #? Currently my permalink structure is set to example.com/en/sample-post/ and example.com/es/sample-post/

Are EN and ES the sites?

Yes, I actually have an “example.com” that redirects according to browser settings to either “example.com/en” or “example.com/es”.

I tried manually changing the permalink on “example.com/en/portfolio-2” to just portfolio, but the change doesn’t stick.

Check that you don’t have another page called portfolio in the trash. You may need to empty that/

If they’re separate sites, the en and es, then they don’t cross over stubs, so it’s just a per-site issue ??

Ah, the trash…Thanks Mika. I had no idea about that. Problem solved.
