• My website is https://www.stormtempweb.com. I’ll use this site as my main wordpress site. But now I want to now create temporary web sites here for my clients so when I’m building their sites they can look at them here, and then when they are finished I can move the site over to their permanent webspace. So I’m guessing my clients site would look like this: https://www.client1.stormtemp.com. Or is it https://www.stormtemp.com/client1? I’m not sure how I do this, from inside wordpress or from inside my hosting company site? Is this a subdomain or is it Multisiting?

Any clarification greatfully received. I’m a newbie.

  • You can do both: client1.stormtemp.com (you’ll have to set this up with your hosting company), or stormtemp.com/client1 (just add a folder with you FTP).
Or: clients.stormtemp.com/client1 (set up clients.stormtemp.com in your hosting company and then add folders per client in your FTP)

    Thanks for your reply.

Ok I understand how to add a folder called stormtemp.com/client1 for example, using my ftp, but how do I access it using wordpress?
