This sounds like a problem with your email address and probably not Edit Flow.

Have you tried changing your email address within the WordPress admin to see if you can receive notices there?

When I changed the email settings in WordPress from SMTP to PHP, I was able to receive it fine. Can you not receive SMTP emails with Gmail?

Hmm, WordPress shouldn’t be receiving any emails, only sending them. It sends them with PHPMail by default, unless you’ve installed a plugin like Configure SMTP which allows you to send emails through an SMTP gateway.

Can you explain your setup in a bit more detail?

I meant when I went to the email settings in WP and tried to send myself a test email. I tried sending to 3 different email accounts that receive email everyday. The test looked okay. Then I switched it from sending emails via SMPT to PHP and I received the test email fine.

I think you have something custom going on with your email delivery. There’s no “Email Settings” in WordPress core where you can send yourself test emails.

You’re right. Seems like we’re using the WP Email SMPT plugin:

To my knowledge, nothing has been changed behind the scenes. Our content editor is receiving emails from WordPress, but I’m not, and we both use Gmail.

This sounds like it’s a problem with the other plugin or your hosting environment, sorry.
