I cant see anything on my website when uploaded

Hello my problem is I cant upload any image or writing on my website . I can open new template and write and prepare it but when I say update it like save it it says ok but in a new tab I open my website there is nothing on my main page . I am sure I played with some of the options but I dont know what I did wrong and why I cannot see any post on my website ? What reasons can be there ? please thank you
