Browser hangs after hitting publish

This just started yesterday and I thought I would ask here first before moving on to my host provider and ISP.

When I write a story from the dashboard and hit ‘publish’ it will take a very long time before the page refreshes and says that the post went through. I can check my page in another tab in firefox and it’s already there, but the page on the dashboard will just show that it’s still sending.

The site runs fine and is fast, same with other sites on the net. I even tried posting from my livejournal from it’s web page and it worked fast. I tried posting from my wordpress client Ecto also and it hung for a long time when trying to post as well. The post went through but it’s driving me nuts having to wait 1 or 2 minutes for the post to go through when it’s always been instant before this.

I’m going to contact godaddy who hosts my site and my ISP today, but everything else seems to be working fine. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and is it related to wordpress which I’m running? I’m running 1.5.2. Thanks.
