different metadiscription

  • WordPress version: 3.4.2
    WordPress SEO version: 1.2.8.7.

    I did this: Imported 5000 posts with CSV Importer.
    Also imported the metadiscription _yoast_wpseo_metadesc
    I did this about 1,5 month ago.
    Almost all the posts are colored green en I have used a tekst in the metadiscription what is also in the post.

    I expected the plugin to do this: To show my metadiscription in Google.

    Instead it did this: I get results from Google when I search for a post. But whit a other metadiscription.
    The example in the admin from the metadiscription is good.

  • I’m having the same exact problems. Now not only are different meta descriptions showing up in google, but it appears that almost ALL of our old posts are now not in the google index. Before, when you would search Comic Booked, and other related terms, there were literally hundreds of posts from the site. Now, we don’t even pick up more than a few spots on the front page.
    I REALLY hope that Yoast can provide some insight on this. Unfortunately for us, this isn’t a simple let’s switch back to all in one seo. It is prime advertising season for us, and since the switch to WordPress SEO, or traffic is down 20%, and our impressions in google search keeps going down by the millions. Someone please help us. This is crazy.

    Yoast, can you give me some advice?

    I want to import more in other website’s but like to go the right way, so my metadiscription is visible in Google.
