Proecta: Featured Post Slider Doesn't Work on Homepage

Hey guys,
I’m trying to help a close friend with her first website and am running into some theme issues.
I’m using this theme, latest version:

There is a function to only allow Featured Images on the Homepage, or all pages. When I select only the home page, the image slider does not work at all. When I select just Pages, or Homepage and Pages, it comes up and works properly. I can’t have the slider on all the other pages as it makes using the site sort of a pain.

But it seems that the code is already in there properly.

I’ve triple checked that the proper page is selected under Home in the Reading Settings, reset all the permalinks, but to no avail.

Any ideas?
