WordPress site not loading

  • I was working on my site within the admin panel and uploading a new CSS file to the FTP space where my site is loaded the other night, when suddenly my site completely stopped loading.

    This is what I’m trying to load:
    https://www.katiethegreene.com/wordpress/

    It’s timing out every time and I don’t know how or where to fix this.

    Any idea as to why this might be happening?

  • Your site and your login are working fine for me. A little slow perhaps but nothing major.

    Thanks for the response! Yes,it literally just started loading again!

    Yeah, it’s a little slow, but that’s not the final site location anyway, so not too worried about that at the moment.

    In the case that this happens again, do you have any idea what might cause this issue? Is it a hosting problem?

    It could but all I can say for sure is that it’s not a WordPress problem. Try asking your hosts if they have been experiencing any problems at their end.
