1. Your site isnt valid. Though that might not seem like a big deal it goes a long way in making sure that that everyone *basically* sees the same layout. Trust me when I say that just because it might look *OK* to you, doesnt mean it looks that way to everyone else.

2. You’re also running a version of WP that is exploitable. <meta name=”generator” content=”WordPress 1.5.1.2″ /> <!– leave this for stats –>

3. The links at the top .. where home, etc.. are. The first “home” and the last “daily news” are not equal spaces apart from the >>> and the <<< in Internet Explorer. That goes back to my #1 for sure.

Overall Im not too terribly impressed, content-wise or style-wise.

The reason they aren’t the same is because I’m a terrible coder and I don’t know how to do most of the things necessary to make them look the same in both, so I improvise and take what I can get. If I could find some help for it, that would be great, but most people rarely offer walkthroughs of how to fix certain problems

I disagree. If you read the support forums, you’ll find the moderators not only offer walkthroughs on how to fix certain problems, but they also offer the same solution multiple times, sometimes in the same day.

How to get your problem fixed?

Katie, everyone says that, but it looks fine to me. Could you possibly take a screenshot of what it looks like in yours? Not sure what the problem is.

Hm…that’s strange. I assume that’s in IE? I only use firefox and it looks fine. I hate how they display things differently. Not really sure how to fix it is the problem…

I’m seeing it now as well trojan, I didn’t really pay attention to it before..

But I also noticed besides kate’s view and whooami’s opinions.. that your left side is kinda broken in IE compared to FF..

Sometimes you can please both by just a minor -px padding in one then the other.. but it’s hard to say..

As for standards, search and you will find free browser check sites to help you see what’s wrong.
