Ignoring a directory in a plugin when updating plugin via WordPress admin

    Got a question and maybe someone may have a answer for.

    Developing a plugin and I have a directory that has files in it that I do not want to be touched if the plugin is updated via WordPress admin panel.

    If someone wants to update the plugin, then it deletes everything and re installs. Anyone know how to skip a directory when someone uses WordPress’s automatically update one the plugin page?
