I don’t work on the plugin, I’m just a user. In that same file, you could probably add a jquery call to take the div and absolutely position it and resize the div. Add an a tag to your popup and give it an ID of minimize and use that register with a $('#minimize').click that can call a function to do the resizing and moving. This sort of customization can be commissioned, but you’re unlikely to find it free.
